Fans call on Kevin Nolan to bring discipline to West Ham

Former West Ham man Kevin Nolan has joined West Ham as a coach, returning to the club where he spent four years playing.

The former midfielder, who has been out of work since being sacked by Notts County in 2018, joins Moyes’ backroom staff alongside former Brighton and Norwich coach Paul Nevin.

Nolan had a great first season in Nottingham, leading Notts County to the play-off final before being sacked early on in the next season due to a dismal start to the campaign, which saw them go on a six-game winless run.

However, despite this, several West Ham fans are excited about his appointment to the backroom staff, with a number of supporters remembering a brilliant anecdote that Nolan mentioned on the FootballJoe Liquid Football podcast.

Nolan describes getting his players back and watching over the footage after a defeat to bottom of the league Barnet, with a lot of Hammers fans excited by his methods of disciplining players.
