West Ham United are reportedly prepared to offer Jarrod Bowen a lucrative offer as they look to pip Crystal Palace in the race for his signature.
According to claims from Football Insider, the Hammers are pressing ahead with their late pursuit of the Hull City star, with the club ready to table a deal worth £60,000 per week.
Bowen is, as per the report, wanted by Palace and Newcastle United, but West Ham have apparently lodged a ‘formal bid’ for the 23-year-old.

We think that recruiting more firepower in the final third would be a good idea for West Ham in the closing stages of the transfer window.

Sebastien Haller has, in our opinion, been starved of service since joining the club, but his goal tally of just six in the Premier League as we approach February flatters to deceive.
As such, strengthening the first-team squad’s depth in the final third could be a wise strategy, and we think Bowen could certainly provide David Moyes with some much-needed attacking inspiration.
The winger has already found the back of the net on 16 occasions in the Championship this term, while he plundered 22 in the second tier last season.
Bowen, as per Football Insider, sees his contract at the KCOM Stadium expire in the summer, and it now looks like a bidding war may ensue, with West Ham, Palace and Newcastle touted as potential destinations.
We believe that with such a lucrative offer worth £60,000 per week on the table, though, the 23-year-old could be tempted to the London Stadium, and it would be a statement of intent from the Hammers board at this stage of the window.
