David Moyes has left many West Ham fans guessing after not just revealing Slavia Prague midfielder Tomas Soucek was having a medical at the club, but that a ‘firm bid’ was in for another player.
Speaking to the media ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Liverpool, Moyes revealed, as cited by Football London, that the Hammers are eyeing one more signing after Soucek:
We have a firm bid in for another player. It’s not a striker.
West Ham have been linked with their fair share of players throughout the winter transfer window so realistically, it’s anyone’s guess at the moment.
These fans have taken to social media to guess just who Moyes is speaking about though, amongst excitement over the prospect of after just one arrival during the whole window, two could be just around the corner.
Some suggestions were wilder than others, but Nandez was a popular choice amongst supporters following reports earlier today suggesting West Ham have made a move for his services.
