In a month where Everton have appointed Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager, the Hammers’ decision to give Moyes another shot has understandably been greeted with criticism.
Despite leading the club to safety in 2017, Moyes had a win percentage of just 29 per cent from his 31 games in charge; hardly a figure to get excited about.
The decision may well prove to be a success, but it appears as though Moyes will have to win a number of doubters over from the off.
