Jack Wilshere has been ruled out of West Ham’s clash against Chelsea this weekend.
The former England international will be unavailable through injury as Manuel Pellegrini’s side travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Wilshere will remain alongside injured duo Lukasz Fabianski and Manuel Lanzini on the sidelines as the Hammers look to end their seven game winless run against Frank Lampard’s side.

Speaking ahead of the game on Saturday, as reported on West Ham’s official website, Pellegrini said of Wilshere:
One not available is Jack Wilshere.
He continues with some problem in his movements. I hope that next week he will start working with the squad.

Thankfully for West Ham, the club have no fresh injury concerns, although with Wilshere and Lanzini both out the club are devoid of creativity in midfield.
The Hammers are in a very difficult rut and three points could be a huge boost for them, but it does seem difficult to imagine those points coming from Chelsea, who are going through a great spell themselves.
Pellegrini appears to be on more and more borrowed time as the weeks go by, and should he fail to generate at the very least a performance that the fans can be proud of, it feels like a matter of when rather than if the Chilean is sacked.
