West Ham have reportedly made contact over a deal to sign Daniel Camacho from Bolivian side The Strongest.
According to Eju!, as cited on Sport Witness, the Premier League side have discussed a deal with the player’s representatives and it is believed a decision could be made by the player today.
Speaking about the chances of the player moving on, club president Ines Quispe confirmed West Ham’s approach.
A representative from the English club (West Ham) called me to let me know that they are interested in Daniel Camacho. The offer is for a sale. We’ve agreed that I will check the player’s contract and the conditions in which he is on loan with Aurora.
Is this a bargain signing from the Hammers?

This would be a great move by West Ham if they can get a deal over the line, and one of little risk as well.
While no fee has been mentioned in the reports, it’s unlikely to be one that breaks the bank from West Ham’s point of view.
In the report, however, Camacho is described as ‘one of the most outstanding young players in the country’, a sign of how highly he is rated in Bolivia.
Sport Witness say that the interest may have stemmed from Ruben Cousillas – Manuel Pellegrini’s number two and his son – who is playing his football for Aurora, where Camacho is currently on loan at.
In the long-term, this could look like a bargain deal further down the line. Having already played first-team football, it remains to be seen how quickly he can push for a spot in Pellegrini’s plans, but he will be a name to look out for in the future that is for sure.
