Arsenal midfielder Sam Flaherty is reportedly keen on signing for West Ham after catching the eye during his Hammers trial, according to Football Insider.
The report suggests that the 17-year-old, who has been on the books at the Emirates for six years, has told his close friends that he is hoping to make the move to the London Stadium.
Flaherty, who also supports West Ham, believes he has more of a chance of becoming a first-team regular with the Hammers than staying with the Gunners.

The attacking midfielder was granted permission by Arsenal to go on trial across London recently, and after scoring two goals against Norwich City on his debut for the Under-18 side, West Ham officials are now weighing up whether or not to offer the youngster a deal.
But should the Hammers grant Flaherty his wish and table him an offer?

The youngster clearly has the ability to make it professionally, so we think that if he continues to impress, should offer the midfielder a Hammers deal.
Flaherty has now turned out for both Arsenal and West Ham’s Under-18 sides, and more experience at that level could see him work his way up through the academy system.
West Ham have proven success in bringing through rising stars, and if thy offer Flaherty terms over the coming weeks, he could go on to become the next big thing to make it under the Hammers’ influential guidance.
