Michail Antonio is working his way back to full fitness after suffering a hamstring injury in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.
After seeing their side draw 0-0 away to Aston Villa on Monday night, the versatile attacker was a player on the minds of a lot of supporters.
Several West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to explain why he could have been the perfect player to call upon as they struggled to break the deadlock at Villa Park.

It’s great to see that these supporters haven’t forgotten about the impact that Antonio could have once he is back fully fit.
He has often struggled to find a regular place in the squad at West Ham, but his pace and direct running could be a major tool for the Hammers in games like the one against Aston Villa.
The match was there for the taking for either side, as they both faltered towards the final whistle.
West Ham were just a little bit short of pace in the final third and it’s easy to see where these fans are coming from. Yarmolenko could only provide so much while Felipe Anderson will be disappointed with his performance.
These fans will be hoping that Pellegrini finds a place for Antonio in his squad as his return could be a timely boost for the Hammers.
