West Ham are reportedly weighing up a move for former Arsenal forward Chuba Akpom, according to the Daily Mail.
The report suggests that Hammers scouts watched the 23-year-old in action for PAOK Salonika in their pre-season fixture against Fortuna Sittard.
The forward struck four times in a 5-1 win last weekend, with West Ham now considering a late move for the £5m-rated striker.

Akpom also helped his current side to a first Greek title in 34 years last season, scoring eight times and providing five assists in 19 domestic appearances, a respectable record.
The talented forward was on professional terms at the Emirates for five years between 2013-2018 and clearly has something about him.
He now has plenty of senior experience behind him and it appears as if something has finally clicked into place during his 12-month stint in Greece.
At 23, Akpom still has plenty of years ahead of him before he reaches his prime and could prove a handy acquisition at the London Stadium.
He’s quick, strong and has a real eye for goal, three attributes needed to excel in the Premier League in an attacking sense.
The club look like they need to bolster their attacking options further after losing a plethora of strikers over the summer and Akpom could provide competition to club-record signing Sebastien Haller and Javier Hernandez, providing Manuel Pellegrini with a solid option from the bench.
Under the right guidance of Pellegrini, a £5 million move for Akpom in today’s market could turn out to be an excellent piece of business by the Hammers.
