Manuel Lanzini will wait to see how the 2019-20 season goes before deciding whether to commit to a new deal at West Ham United.
The Argentine’s contract expires next summer and the Hammers will be desperate to tie him down after he massively improved Manuel Pellegrini’s team on his return from injury in February.
Replying to a supporter on Twitter in the early hours of Sunday morning, a highly-reputable West Ham insider revealed Lanzini’s current mindset:

The 26-year-old wants to see how the club progresses over the next 12 months but it’d be painful to see him leave on a free due to not only his importance but also the £9million paid for his services in 2016.
He’s without a doubt one of Pellegrini’s most important assets and the club should do everything to keep him.
