West Ham have been interested in Celta Vigo attacker Maxi Gomez and have recently had a bid in the region of ยฃ25 million rejected.
However, it seems as though the Hammers are prepared to go back in for the player and intensify their interest in the Uruguayan ahead of the new season.
Spanish side Valencia are also interested in the attacker who scored 13 goals last season.

Celta Vigo finished one place above the relegation zone and Gomez was a key part in them staying up.
And, according to the London Evening Standard, cited by HITC, Celta Vigo are hoping the Hammers and Valencia enter into a bidding war for the highly-rated striker this summer.
The Hammers have already completed the signing of Pablo Fornals from Villarreal as boss Manuel Pellegrini looks to bolster his options to push for a spot in Europe next season.
If West Ham complete the signing of Gomez, then they will have a lot of creativity and attacking options up front and would more than likely be a real attacking threat to the rest of the division.
