Galatasaray have opened talks with West Ham striker Javier Hernandez’s representatives, according to Turkish outlet Sabah, cited by The Boot Room.
The report claims that Galatasaray’s vice-president Abdurrahim Albayrak has already met with Hernandez’s representatives as the Super Lig side look to reach an agreement with the player.
Hernandez returned to the Premier League with West Ham in July 2017 after two high scoring seasons in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen, for whom he scored 39 goals in 76 games.
However, he has failed to hit those heights with the Hammers, scoring just 16 goals in 61 appearances in all competitions.

It is thought that both the Hammers and the Mexican are happy to part ways this summer, with Galatasaray now a possible destination for ‘Chicharito’.
Boss Manuel Pellegrini has already let strikers Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez leave the club, and now Hernandez could be following the pair out of the exit door.
Should the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward depart, it would not only significantly reduce West Ham’s current wage bill, but would also create more space for reported target Maxi Gomez to come in.
The Celta Vigo striker has been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium, but a deal is yet to be struck for the 22-year-old Uruguayan.
