Pedro Obiang’s departure from West Ham may have just moved closer after his agent met with officials from AS Roma.
The midfielder appears to be keen on an exit from the London Stadium this summer in favour of a return to Italy, and it seems as though he will get his wish.
According to a story from Il Tempo, as translated by Sport Witness, Obiang’s agent has already spoken with Roma regarding a possible move to the Italian capital.

It has become clear that Obiang’s preferred league is Serie A. The 27-year-old played there 99 times between 2010 and 2015 during his spell with Sampdoria before signing for West Ham four years ago.
He has been angling for a return to the country for some time since, with reports in January suggesting that he saw a move to Fiorentina blocked.
The Spain-born Equatorial Guinea international played a bit-part role last season, making 24 Premier League appearances with half of those coming from the substitutes bench.
