West Ham have seen their £18m offer for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes rejected this week.
According to Sky Sports, Barcelona have decided to turn down West Ham’s bid for Gomes.

West Ham are interested in a deal to sign Gomes on a permanent deal, but will now have to up their bid if they are to have any chance of landing him this summer.

Gomes spent the season on loan to Everton in the Premier League, where he impressed in midfield for Marco Silva’s side.
The Portuguese international made 27 Premier League appearances for Everton, scoring one and assisting one, after missing the start of the campaign through injury.
Gomes joined Barcelona from Valencia in 2016 and has made 78 first-team appearances for the Spanish giants to date, scoring three times.
