West Ham produced a fine performance on Saturday afternoon to dispatch of Southampton with a 3-0 victory and maintain their push for a top half finish in the Premier League.
The Hammers went ahead early on at the London Stadium through Marko Arnautovic, who produced a clinical finish to score his first goal since January after being played in by Mark Noble.
Southampton started the second half the quicker of the two sides as they looked to grab an equaliser, before Arnautovic capitalised on a defensive mix up to nod home from close range and put the Hammers 2-0 up with his second goal of the game.
Ryan Fredericks scored his first ever Premier League goal three minutes later to put the game beyond doubt, after latching on to Jack Wilshere’s attempted pass and firing a low shot under Fraser Forster.
Victory for Manuel Pellegrini’s side moves them to within a point of Watford in 10th, and here’s how we rated the Hammers following the win.
