Roma striker Edin Dzeko could potentially be nearing a return to the Premier League, as West Ham have been offered a chance to sign him, according to Sky Sports.
The Bosnian forward’s contract expires at the end of this current season, but he is yet to be offered an extension.
Dzeko has been prolific during his time in Rome. He made the move in 2015 initially on loan before the deal was made permanent a couple of months later. In Italy, he has scored 86 goals in 171 appearances in his four seasons.

The 33-year-old also has a very good scoring record for his national team. Since making his debut in 2001, he has been capped 101 times and has bagged 55 times.
If West Ham do make a move for Dzeko this summer, the striker would be reunited with his former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini and his former teammate Samir Nasri, who signed for the club earlier this season.
Under Pellegrini, the attacker scored 32 goals from his 80 matches. He played a very important role in City winning their first Premier League in 2013/14, and he scored in the final game late on against QPR to secure the title.
