Paul Pogba scored twice from the penalty spot as West Ham suffered a 2-1 defeat against Manchester United on Saturday evening.
The Frenchman opened the scoring early on, converting from 12 yards after Robert Snodgrass fouled Juan Mata just inside the area.
Felipe Anderson equalised for the Hammers four minutes into the second half and substitute Michail Antonio almost put Manuel Pellegrini’s side ahead but his effort hit the crossbar.
Moments later, United were awarded their second penalty of the game when Ryan Fredericks brought Anthony Martial down in the area, and Pogba converted once again to restore United’s lead.
