West Ham are battling Inter Milan to sign Atalanta forward Duvan Zapata at the end of the season.
According to Calcio Mercato, West Ham have already failed with one attempt to sign the striker, whilst Inter are preparing a move of their own.
The report claims that he is valued at €40m, due to his superb form in the Serie A for Atalanta this season.

Zapata is currently on loan to Atalanta from Sampdoria, but there is an option in the deal to make it permanent.
Atalanta could sign him on a permanent basis from Sampdoria, before selling him on to Inter or West Ham for a profit, although the fee agreed in his loan deal has not been disclosed in this report.
Zapata has scored 16 goals in the Serie A this season. Only Krzysztof Piatek, Fabio Quagliarella and Cristiano Ronaldo have scored more goals in the league.
