Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG are ready to step up their efforts to sign Marko Arnautovic from West Ham United.
According to a report from the Times, the Austrian international is set to be the subject of a bid worth approximately £45 million from Vitor Pereira’s side as his future at the London Stadium continues to come under scrutiny.
Speculation surrounding Arnautovic’s next move has been persistent in recent times, with the Hammers having already rejected a £35 million offer from a then-unnamed Chinese club during the January transfer window.

The versatile forward is understood to be keen to leave West Ham this month as he seeks a new challenge away from East London.
Shanghai SIPG are the reigning champions of the Chinese Super League and are believed by the Times to be stepping up their pursuit of Arnautovic ahead of their new season in March.
The 29-year-old remains an important player for Manuel Pellegrini but it seems the club will be forced to make a decision on their talisman’s future as a huge new bid presents itself.
