West Ham United are reportedly keen to replace Pedro Obiang with Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara.
It is reported by Italian news outlet TMW that as the Hammers player nears a move to Fiorentina this month, the club have set their sights on Carlo Ancelotti’s promising youngster.
The Hammers are currently lacking depth in the middle of the park and with Obiang seemingly set for a return to Serie A in the January transfer window, contingency plans are being made.

Napoli star Diawara is understood to have emerged as a top target for Manuel Pellegrini as he bids to add further quality to his ranks for the second half of the Premier League season.
However, according to TMW, West Ham may struggle to convince the Italian giants into a mid-season sale of their midfielder.
The 21-year-old has made only six starts this season in Serie A but despite this, it is stated that Napoli manager Ancelotti will refuse to let the Guinean international depart the Stadio San Paolo this month.
