West Ham United star Michail Antonio has confirmed that Marko Arnautovic is looking to leave the club this month.
The Austrian international has been heavily linked with an exit from the London Stadium in recent times, with an unnamed Chinese Super League club having recently made a £35 million bid for the player.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side rejected this offer, much to the frustration of Arnautovic, who is pursuing a move away from West Ham as he looks to undergo a new challenge elsewhere.

West Ham remain reluctant to sanction the sale of their star forward, though, and Antonio confirmed to Goals on Sunday, as reported by talkSPORT, that the club are keen for their talisman to stay put. He said:
It’s been quite tight-lipped, but everyone knows Marko wants to go. He’s massive for the club, I think he’s joint top goalscorer right now, so he’s a big player for us.
The fans love him, it’s just one of those things where in his life right now, he feels it’s another step for him and I think he’s going to one of the best clubs over there, where he might be able to win some trophies.
Despite the recent speculation surrounding his future, the former Stoke City attacker led the line in the Hammers’ crucial 1-0 win against Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
