Bologna are still interest in West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna, and haven’t been totally put off by the Italian’s high wages.
The 30-year old centre-half played well against Southampton on Thursday night, where the Hammers came from behind to win 2-1 against the Saints.
Thrown in alongside Issa Diop after Fabian Balbuena’s injury against Watford, Ogbonna was the more dominant presence in West Ham’s defensive line.
However, with Balbuena not expected to be out for long, there is a big chance that the former Juventus man could be back on the sidelines in the not so distant future.

Because of this, rumours of a potential exit have once again surfaced, with Serie A outfit Bologna said to be keen to do a deal ahead of the January transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by Sport Witness.
It was previously reported that Ogbonna’s wages could prove to be a stumbling block for the Rossoblu, however it doesn’t seem to have completely ruled them out of the running.
However, with managerial change rumoured to be close for the Italian club, with Filippo Inzaghi’s future in the balance, it is unclear whether this would influence the club’s interest in the defender.
