Former Arsenal man tells Ramsey to move to West Ham

Former Arsenal favourite Lauren has suggested that Aaron Ramsey should sign for West Ham on the expiration on his contract.

Lauren, who was part of the unbeatables side that dominated the Premier League in 2003/04, has suggested that the Welshman should consider a move to the London Stadium, with the possiblity of Ramsey becoming a dressing room leader in East London.

The Welshman has been touted with several high profile moves, with some considering a move to West Ham to be a step down.

However, Lauren, speaking to Sportingbet, said:

West Ham could be a great fit for Ramsey should he leave the Gunners.

He’s settled in London so he won’t want to move, but West Ham gives him the chance to get first team football whilst becoming a leader in the dressing room.

Ramsey has been a fantastic player and role model at Arsenal, but it seems like he wants to move on now.

There has been mixed messages coming out of the club and he’ll be a great asset wherever he decides to go.

Moving to West Ham would see Ramsey follow in Jack Wilshere’s footsteps, with the former Arsenal man deciding to leave Arsenal on a free and join the Hammers last Summer.

Wilshere’s spell at West Ham has been hit with injury, but the former England international has been touted with a return soon.
