West Ham could miss out on the chance to sign Gabriel Barbosa, with Santos keen to extend the striker’s stay in Brazil.
According to reports in Italy, Santos are keen to keep the player at the club, despite West Ham making an offer to bring the player to the Premier League.
Gabigol, as he is also known as, has enjoyed a fruitful loan spell back in Brazil after a tricky start to life in Italy.

The player’s loan deal with Santos is set to come to an end in the near future and his form in Brazil has led to talk of a move to the Premier League in January.
Palace, Everton and West Ham have all been credited with an interest in signing the player following a series talks with ‘super agent’ Kia Joorabchian.
Inter have been keen to take advantage of his new-found form and cash in on the player, but Santos are doing all they can to keep the striker for another year.
