Borussia Monchengladbach are said to be considering a bid to sign Reece Oxford on a permanent basis.
Sky Sports report that the player could commit his future to the Bundesliga outfit after a difficult patch in his career.
Gladbach tried to sign the player in January but the Hammers turned down the approach which was believed to be worth around £13 million.
Oxford spent time on loan in the Bundesliga earlier in his career after falling out of favour at West Ham.

The defender, who burst onto the scene at West Ham with a wealth of promise, has clearly left a lasting impression in Germany.
Oxford was one of the first in the latest batch of English youngsters to take his career to Germany in the search of regular first-team football.
While he may not have played as much as he would have hoped for Gladbach, he recalls fond memories of his time with the Bundesliga side.
