West Ham reportedly made a €30 million offer to sign Yacine Brahimi during the summer transfer window.
According to Portuguese outlet Record, the Porto winger was a man in demand at the end of the season.
They claim that the Hammers came calling and were willing to pay as much as €30 million in order to bring him to the London Stadium.
The offer was reportedly evaluated but Brahimi opted to stay with Porto following talks with Sérgio Conceição.
The Hammers, who were clearly in the market for a winger, went on to sign Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko.

The decision to reject the offer may come back to haunt Porto, with Brahimi now approaching the end of his contract with the club.
The player is being widely tipped to leave either in January at a cut-price rate or in the summer for nothing.
West Ham are still believed to be interested in the player, but Lazio, Everton and Newcastle have also been linked in recent weeks.
