West Ham United striker Marko Arnautovic has hinted that he may need injections in his knee to allow him to play for Austria during the international break, according to a report on HITC.
The forward has admitted in recent months that he has been playing with a knee problem for a while and has played through the pain.
The knee problem means Arnautovic was forced to withdraw from the Premier League clash with Everton back in September and he confirmed that he has never felt fully fit.

Arnautovic has once again been selected in the Austria squad as they face Bosnia and Northern Ireland in the UEFA Nations League over the next week.
When speaking about his knee, he said:
I can not say if I’ll get an injection on Thursday. In the knee, fluid accumulates again and again. Of course, there are people who say they should spare themselves and do nothing for a week, but it’s just difficult.
The striker is one of the Hammers’ key players and losing him to injury would be a massive blow.
Numerous fans have called for Arnautovic to rest during the international break to allow himself time to recover but he seems happy to play for his country.
The Hammers face current league leaders Manchester City at the London Stadium after the international break ends.
