Preview: Huddersfield vs West Ham

West Ham travel to the John Smith’s Stadium this weekend for a Premier League clash with current relegation zone occupants Huddersfield Town.

Both teams come into the game in form after West Ham’s 4-2 win against Burnley and Huddersfield’s first win of the season against Fulham on Monday night.

A victory for West Ham would help close the gap with Brighton and could see them finish the weekend level on points in 12th position. However, a win for Huddersfield could see them climb as high as 14th, depending on results elsewhere.

West Ham will still be without suspended Mark Noble, who will complete the final game of his three-game suspension this weekend. It is also likely that Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere will not feature with the game coming to soon for either player to be considered fully match fit.

Huddersfield will be without Philip Billing for the first time this season. He will be serving a one-match ban after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season during the 1-0 win over Fulham. The Terriers will also be without the injured Erik Durm and Daniel Williams who are not expected to be back until after the international break.
