Manchester United have jumped in front of West Ham in the race to sign Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama.
According to reports from Tuttosport, Manchester United are interested in the player and now stand at the front of the queue.
West Ham had been linked with a move to sign the player from their London rivals after it was suggested he could be on the move in January.

After struggling with injuries, Wanyama has found game time hard to come by at Spurs.
He has fallen out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino and both United and West Ham are keen to add to their midfield options in the January transfer window.
If Jose Mourinho’s men do hold a concrete interest in the player, they will be hopeful that they can complete a deal to sign the midfielder, with the report claiming Jose Mourinho will be given as much as £100 million to spend in the new year.
