West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has been forced to deny rumours that the Hammers are considering a move to sign Edin Dzeko.

It was claimed that the Hammers could even offer him a role off the pitch for when he retires, with the former Manchester City keen to working behind the scenes after his playing days.

Dzeko is a man that Pellegrini knows well from his time at Manchester City, but he appears keen to remain in Roma.
The striker, who has impressed in Italy since making the move there, was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea over the summer but turned down a return to the Premier League.
TEAMtalk quote the West Ham boss denying any truth in the rumours.
You can talk about five, six or seven players that are linked with us. We must not talk about one player. I know him [Dzeko] well but we are not thinking about that at the moment.
