A furious dressing room rant by West Ham captain Mark Noble has been named as a key factor behind the Hammers change in form this season, the Daily Mail reveals.
Noble is believed to have gone on his rant as his team-mates after the Hammers’ 1-0 home defeat to Wolves on September 1, a game which saw the London club concede an injury-time winner from Adama Traore.
Noble was an unused substitute for that game but laid into his fellow team-mates in the dressing room after the full-time whistle whilst manager Manuel Pellegrini conducted a debrief with his coaches.
Noble didn’t hold back on his outrage as he accused the squad of lacking commitment.
Noble said to the rest of the squad:
You just do not seem to care and that is not acceptable at this club.

Noble’s five minute rant saw the club captain state that performances were well below par and that more effort was needed from the group.
The Daily Mail state that Noble’s angry assessment could be heard metres away from the home dressing room.
West Ham’s performances and player attitudes since Noble’s rant have been significantly altered as the Hammers recorded their first win on the season at Everton in the next league game.
