Atalanta could reportedly launch a move to sign West Ham midfielder Pedro Obiang during the January transfer window.
According to reports in Italy, Obiang is of interest to Atalanta, who are looking to strengthen their midfield during the next transfer window.
Obiang has been heavily linked with a return to Italy in the past and has come close to re-joining Sampdoria on a number of occasions.
The Spaniard has been a regular for the Hammers but has often talked up a move back to Serie A.

He joined West Ham back in 2015 from Sampdoria for a fee in the region of £4.3 million.
With Manuel Pellegrini reverting to a three-man midfield, the club will be keen to keep hold of the player unless another signing is made.
Obiang impressed alongside Mark Noble and Declan Rice in midfield against Manchester United over the weekend, helping the Hammers to an impressive 3-1 win at the London Stadium.
