West Ham United defender Declan Rice has been left out of the Republic of Ireland squad by Martin O’Neill as the youngster is still thinking about playing for England, according to Sky Sports.
The 19-year-old has been capped three times by the Republic of Ireland but he is yet to play in a competitive international fixture.

Rice was born in London and is still eligible to switch to England to play his international football.
The young defender is very highly-rated by the Hammers and is tipped for a bright future at the club.
Republic of Ireland boss O’Neill said:
England have spoken to him. He is taking time to make his mind up.
He has done brilliantly for us. I’m giving him a little bit of time. I wouldn’t be exaggerating to say Declan has loved it with us.
After the Turkey game, his father was there and it was a joyous moment for them. We have done everything we can. He has been welcomed by the squad, the fans. He is taking time and I am respecting that.
Rice was a first-team regular for the Hammers last season as he made 26 appearances in the Premier League.
