West Ham captain Mark Noble will miss the game against Arsenal with a back injury.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed, as reported by London Football News, that the midfielder has been unable to train this week because of injury.
It had been suggested that Noble could miss out on the game anyway after a poor start to the season.
The experienced midfielder struggled against Bournemouth and was unable to prevent Callum Wilson from scoring an equaliser at the London Stadium.

West Ham travel to the Emirates on Saturday, with both sides looking to pick up their first win of the season.
The Hammers have been beaten by both Bournemouth and Liverpool in their opening two games.
Arsenal themselves will be hoping for a positive result after defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea.
Pellegrini will be desperate to get that first win under his belt as he looks to move on from last season’s disappointing campaign.
