West Ham want to complete a deal for Colombia international Carlos Sanchez before the transfer window slams shut on Thursday, according to a report from the Mirror.
The Hammers are keen to sign a holding midfielder before the deadline on Thursday evening and have reportedly lined up Sanchez as a target.
It’s claimed by the Mirror that West Ham have already entered negotiations with Fiorentina to discuss a move for the 32-year-old, who has previous Premier League experience following his exploits with Aston Villa.

Sanchez was a part of Colombia’s 23-man squad at this summer’s World Cup but failed to truly convince in the heart of the midfield.
West Ham have been extremely active in the summer transfer window and look set to make Sanchez one of their final two signings.
29-year-old Arsenal forward Lucas Perez, according to the Mirror, is close to completing a move to the London Stadium for a fee believed to be worth just £4 million.
