The agent of Uruguay international Diego Laxalt has revealed that West Ham are keen to sign him this summer.
Speaking to French news outlet RMC Sport, the Genoa star’s representative has admitted that contact has already been initiated by West Ham over a deal for Laxalt.
Following the player’s performances for Uruguay at the World Cup, it seems a whole host of English clubs are contemplating respective moves for Laxalt. West Ham, along with both Crystal Palace and Bournemouth, have since been linked.

However, the Hammers will face competition from Napoli, according to Laxalt’s agent Ariel Krasouski, who explained his client’s current situation at Genoa.
So many clubs, not only Italian but also foreign. There are rumours. Napoli and also West Ham are interested. They made a proposal, I know the sporting director [Mario Husillos] and [Manuel] Pellegrini.
We are talking, we will see what will happen.
The Serie A club would be keen to keep hold of Laxalt but appear to understand that he is a man in demand this summer. According to reports, though, they will not sell their star man for any lower than their original valuation of €20 million.
