According to Sport Witness, West Ham United are interest in signing Spartak Moscow defender Ilya Kutepov.
It was reported last week that Fiorentina were leading the race for the highly rated defender, but Kutepov is now attracting strong interest from West Ham.
However if Pellegrini is serious about making a move for Kutepov and bringing him to the London Stadium then he should be prepared to act quickly, with a host of other top European clubs also vying for his signature.
Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Sassuolo and Lyon are all also said to be keeping tabs on the player.
TuttoMercatoWeb were the first Italian outlet last week to quote Fiorentina’s interest in the defender, before going on to suggest that West Ham were looking at the player.
Now Corriere dello Sport are the second foreign outlet to be linking Manuel Pellegrini’s side with a move for the 24-year-old Russian.
