Premier League side West Ham United are plotting a move for former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli this summer, according to a report on TalkSPORT.
The Italian striker’s contract with French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice expires this summer, meaning he will be available on a free transfer.
New Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is eager to add a quality striker to his squad as he hopes to light up the London Stadium with free-flowing attacking football next season.

Balotelli has been criticised in previous years for his off the field antics and attitude problems, but since he joined Nice in the French top flight, he has focused on improving his performances and has matured during his stint in Ligue 1.
The 27-year-old’s 18 domestic goals last season saw him earn a call-up to the Italy squad and now, he is eager to return back to the Premier League.
His agent Mino Raiola has revealed that he is still assessing his options at the moment as there is also interest from Marseille.
