West Ham United face competition from Italian Serie A side AS Roma for the signature of unsettled Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore, according to Get French Football News.
The Argentine is disappointed with the lack of opportunities given to him by the French champions and is looking for regular football.
Premier League club West Ham have registered their interest in securing his services but AS Roma have now also reportedly entered the race to sign him.

The French news outlet claims that AS Roma’s director of football Monchi held a meeting with Pastore’s agent to discuss a possible move.
The midfielder has one year remaining on his current deal with PSG and the Ligue 1 giants are willing to listen to offers for him, with West Ham prepared to offer up to £17.5m for his services.
The only stumbling block for the Hammers is Pastore’s wage demands, which is understood to be around £190,000 a week.
Hammers’ boss Manuel Pellegrini wants to bring attacking flair to the London Stadium next season and believes Pastore will offer just that, but with clubs like Roma also interested, he may need to look elsewhere.
