West Ham are reportedly still looking to land Javier Pastore from PSG this summer.
Negotiations between the Hammers and Lazio are ongoing over a deal for Felipe Anderson, with the club looking to recruit additional creative quality ahead of next season.
West Ham’s pursuit of Anderson appeared to indicate the end of their efforts to land Pastore from PSG, with reports claiming that the player’s excessive wage demands had put the club’s hierarchy off a summer move.

However, according to claims from reputable French news outlet Paris United, measures are being taken to help the Hammers progress with their bid to land Pastore.

It’s claimed that there is a general agreement that Pastore will need to lower his wage demands in order to push for a move away from the Ligue 1 champions, with West Ham likely to now offer the player an increased signing-on bonus to compensate.
The 28-year-old is presented as a top target for Manuel Pellegrini, who will be keen to add Pastore to help the team deal with the recently-sustained ACL injury to Manuel Lanzini.
