West Ham are reported to have opened talks to sign Lazio full-back Jordan Lukaku.
Although attention has been trained on the Hammers’ pursuit of Lazio forward Felipe Anderson, it seems Manuel Pellegrini is also interested in their left back Lukaku.
The Belgian made 44 appearances in all competitions last year, but mainly as a substitute.

Senad Lulic asserted a firm grip on the left wing-back role last season, forcing Lukaku into a rotational role.
Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku present themselves as the left-sided players already available to Pellegrini at the London Stadium, but the Chilean may be looking to introduce his own players to East London.
As the deal for Felipe Anderson encounters friction, Pellegrini continues to search for a ‘statement signing’ in his first summer in the capital. The 23-year-old defender is highly touted as a future star, and may signal to the fans that change is afoot for a club who endured a problematic season on and off the pitch.
Lukaku would join brother Romelu in the UK should he decide to leave Italy.
