West Ham are one of a number of clubs who have been tracking French youngster Issa Diop this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Fellow Premier League sides Fulham and Everton are also keen on the player who currently plays for Toulouse in the French top division.
He has featured for his nation’s under-21 side and is highly thought of in France with his reputation continuing to grow.

His current side are happy to listen to any offers, but are wanting £26 million for the player if they were to sell him.
Money would be no problem for Hammers who are well backed and are preparing to make a move for the player.
The Hammers will be looking to bring in some new defenders after struggling in this department last term.
Manuel Pellegrini is keen to strengthen his defence and clearly sees Diop as an improvement to his squad.
