West Ham are reportedly facing competition from AS Monaco in their pursuit of Lazio star Felipe Anderson.
The Hammers have already made a hefty bid of €38m for Anderson, according to reports, but have seen their efforts rebuffed with Lazio keen to take a huge sum of €50m from the player’s potential sale.
West Ham are not alone in their interest in Anderson. Recently, their fellow Premier League competitors Southampton and Leicester City have been linked.
However, the latest side to be touted as a potential destination for Anderson is AS Monaco. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited in a report from Football Italia, the Lazio star has been lined up as a target by the French giants.

The 25-year-old was used sparingly by Simone Inzaghi throughout last season at Lazio but still impressed when called upon. Anderson contributed, from only 32 appearances, with a respectable tally of eight goals along with 10 assists.
Anderson is capable of playing both on the right wing or in the hole, meaning that his versatility would certainly be of benefit to a somewhat misfiring West Ham team.
Although, it now seems as though they will be faced with a whole host of competitors for Anderson’s signature this summer.
