West Ham are understood to be keen on landing Felipe Anderson this summer but according to reports, they could be faced with competition from Leicester City and Southampton.
The Hammers were strongly linked with a move for the Brazilian playmaker earlier on in the week, with Manuel Pellegrini out to add further quality to his attacking ranks.
However, according to claims from Tuttosport, as cited in a report by Football Italia, the Saints and the Foxes have joined the race for Anderson’s signature.

The 25-year-old was used sparingly by Simone Inzaghi throughout last season at Lazio but still impressed when called upon. Anderson contributed, from only 32 appearances, with a respectable tally of eight goals along with 10 assists.
Anderson is capable of playing both on the right wing or in the hole, meaning that his versatility would certainly be of benefit to a somewhat misfiring West Ham team.
The race to sign Anderson is hotting up and if reports are to be believed, Pellegrini will be desperate to tie up a deal for the Lazio star.
