West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly keeping an eye on Marlon Santos and sees him as a potential signing in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Lee Clayton.
This transfer window will see Pellegrini try and sort out the Hammers’ defence, which will need even more work now that James Collins has left the club after 11 years of service.
Marlon has been on loan at OGC Nice for the 2017/18 season from Barcelona. His deal with the French side is a two-year loan which has an option to buy for £20m at the end, but West Ham may intrude the loan.

Santos, despite being at the youthful age of 22, has been playing incredible throughout his career, winning the Serie A in his native Brazil, which helped secure a loan move to Barcelona Barcelona.
He was a crucial part of the OGC Nice side who missed out on the European spots for next season by just one point.
However, he could be on the move again, with the Hammers looking to improve their defence and also give Marlon his first taste of Premier League football.
