West Ham are reportedly interested in a deal to sign Jay Rodriguez from West Brom this summer.
It’s claimed by the Mirror that the Hammers are keeping an eye on the striker’s situation at the Hawthorns, with a summer exit seemingly likely.
Rodriguez was a standout performer for the Baggies in a torrid season for the club as they were consigned to relegation. The former Southampton man found the net on seven occasions in the league, and 11 times in all competitions.

West Ham struggled in front of goal last season and will certainly be keen to bolster their attacking ranks with Manuel Pellegrini now at the helm.
Rodriguez joined West Brom for a fee of £12 million from Southampton last summer and it’s highly likely that the Baggies will try to make a significant profit on the forward following his impressive campaign.
The Hammers are also set to be rivalled by the likes of Bournemouth, Burnley and Crystal Palace in their apparent bid to land Rodriguez.
