Patrice Evra to leave West Ham at the end of the month
West Ham defender Patrice Evra will not have his contract renewed with the club and will leave at the end of the month.
BBC Sport report that Evra, 37, will depart the London Stadium along with the long-serving James Collins.
The Frenchman was given a short-term contract by manager David Moyes, who has now left the club and been replaced by Manuel Pellegrini, in February.
He only made five appearances for the club, the last of which coming in the 2-0 victory at Leicester City at the beginning of the month.
Evra had a controversial first half of the season, where he was sacked by Marseille and banned by UEFA after attempting to kung-fu kick a supporter who he claimed was abusing him.
The former France international has enjoyed a successful career, spending eight years with Manchester United and also playing for Italian giants Juventus.
He has recently been causing a stir on his social media accounts, posting videos of himself singing about his love for Mondays and life in general.
It is unclear whether Evra will continue playing, or look for another role in or out of football.
