West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Moussa Marega from FC Porto this summer.
According to claims from Portuguese news outlet A Bola, the Hammers are in the race to land the Mali international, who has been in fine form for his side this season.
Marega has netted 20 goals in all competitions, establishing himself as a vital member of the Porto side.
West Ham have hardly been lethal in front of goal this season and have lacked a natural finisher, with Javier Hernandez failing to truly hit the ground running following his summer move.

Having let Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho leave the club in January, despite the arrival of Jordan Hugill, the Hammers are still seemingly on the lookout for a new striker.
Although, it seems Everton are the leading Premier League club in the race to sign Marega. The 26-year-old’s agent opened up on the English interest in his client.
It is true that there are early contacts with several English clubs, among them Everton, but no decision has been made. And it will only be with the natural knowledge and consent of FC Porto. Anything else that comes after this will be speculation.
So, if West Ham are to sign Marega, they will no doubt face competition from Everton. Along with the Toffees, Swansea are stated by A Bola to have expressed an interest.
