West Ham are willing to increase Jack Wilshere’s current salary in order to get him to sign with the club, according to The Daily Star.
Wilshere’s contract at the Emirates runs out in the summer, he has been able to talk to other clubs about signing for free in the summer.
Whilst the contract-related news at Arsenal has been dominated by Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, Wilshere’s situation has not been as prominant, but it is now headline news.

Arsene Wenger said that he would start discussions with Wilshere in early December, but there has been no results of theose talks as of yet.
Arsenal have offered Wilshere a contract, but have asked him to take a pay cut, whilst Ozil has been given a £350,000 per week contract.
Wilshere is keen to stay in the Premier League, with West Ham and Everton looking likely to be the two clubs fighting to sign him.
Both Hammers and the Toffees are willing to increase his pay and to give him a huge, signing on fee, with Everton reportedly offering £8m to Wilshere if he goes to Merseyside.
