According to the Daily Mail, Andre Gomes is unlikely to join West Ham this transfer window due to Barcelona’s £30m asking price.
West Ham have been in the market for a midfielder this window, with the likes of Joao Mario, Leander Dendoncker and Jonjo Shelvey all being linked with a move to East London.
However, it now looks like Gomes, who was targeted by West Ham in the summer too, is going to stay at Barca, despite the his lack of game-time, which will become more prevalent due to the arrival of Philippe Coutinho.

It is no secret that West Ham have been after a central midfielder for a long time, especially after to the prolonged transfer saga involving William Carvalho and his club Sporting Lisbon in the summer.
No midfielder at the club has been a consistent performer this season, which is why David Moyes is very keen to bring one in before the end of this transfer window.
